Checking the engine
1. Check the fuel pump.
a) Turn the ignition Warning: do not start the engine.
b) Short-circuit jumper findings "+ B" and "PP" diagnostic connector ¬ ma fuel pump.
c) Check that the pressure in the hose-Pliva, the waste from the top-tidal filter.
Please note: at this point heard the noise of fuel flow from the fuel pressure regulator in a return-NIJ.
d) Remove the jumper from the diagnostic connector-cal.
e) Turn off the ignition.
In the absence of the said fuel pressure,check the following elements ¬ ments: fuses, fuse ¬ there, the main relay fuel injection system, re-le-switch fuel pump, then ¬ plivny pump wiring.
2. Check fuel pressure
a) Make sure the voltage ac-kumulyatornoy batteries at least January 1 ¬ 12 V.
b) Remove (-) wire from the Accu-mulyatornoy battery.
a) (4A-FE (AE92, AE95, AT171, AT180) and 4A-OE (AE92 and AT160)) Disconnect electrical connector from a cold start injector.
g) Place a suitable container (or put a rag) under cold start injector pipe (for engines with injector cold start) or by feeding tube top ¬ Lib fuel manifold (without engine jets of cold ¬ start).

Slowly remove the bypass inlet fuel hose bolt then-plivnogo reservoir, then remove the bolt and 2 gaskets and fuel inlet hose-ny.
e) Drain the fuel reservoir.
g) Using a new gasket (1) and socket adapter (2), install a pressure gauge (3) on the collector fuel (4) by tightening the bolt bypass.
Tightening torque:
4A-OE (AE92, AT160) 15
4A-FE (AE92, AE95, AT171,
AT180) 18
4A-FE (AE101, AT190), 5A-FE (AE110), 4A-BE (AE101, AE111) 29
For Option 4A-FE (AE101, AT190) with a system of lean combustion.
4A-FE (AE92, AE95, AT171, AT180) and 4A-GE (AE92, AT160).
a) Close the jumper findings "PP" and "+ B" diagnostic connector. k) Turn the ignition key. m) Check fuel pressure. nominal pressure of fuel: 4A-GE (AE101, AE111) ... 235 - 275 kPa (2.4 - 2.8 kg/cm2)

p) Measure the fuel pressure at idle.
Nominal fuel pressure:
4A-GE (AE101, AE111) 235-275 kPa
(2.4 - 2.8 kg/cm2)
the remaining 265 - 304 kPa
(2.7 - 3.1 kg/cm2) c) Connect the vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator and pressure from ¬ merte fuel holo ¬ DENTAL go.
Nominal fuel pressure: 4A-GE (AE101, E111)

Torque. 29 nm
x) Connect the (-) wire to the Accu ¬ mulyatornoy battery, h) Start the engine and make sure no leakage of fuel in the joints.
Check the fuel pump
(4A-FE (AT190 and AE101), 5A-FE (AE110), 7A-FE (AE93, AE102, AE103))
1. Disconnect the negative ¬ positive (-) terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion.
3. (Models AE (except AE93)) by removing 4 screws, remove the service hatch in the underside of the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the fuel pump connector and the sensor level indicator then ¬ Pliva.
5. Check the fuel pump.
7A-FE (AE93).
a). Check the electrical resistance ¬ tance anchor the fuel pump by connecting the ohmmeter to terminals "4" and "5" (except AE93) or "1" and "2" (AE93), the fuel pump connector.
Please note:
• to avoid burnout of: coils fuel pump, it pro ¬ Verka should be carried out strictly to ¬ (10 seconds);
• Always keep the fuel pump as far away from the battery;
• Always turn the pump just connecting the wires to the conclusion ¬ give the battery.
6. Connect the fuel pump and fuel level sensor.
7. (Models AE (except AE93))
Replace the cover hatch service, securing it with 4 screws.
8. Install the rear cushion ¬ Nha Side.
9. Connect the wire to the negative ¬ positive (-) terminal of the battery.
